Duece Bug has been making noise on the east coast and beyond for over a decade, with his different rock induced hip hop sound, and polarizing live performance which includes his drum kit, various live instruments, DJ Funksway, and CTs livest hypeman- Chuck Nickels.
Known for his operations as Full Blast and Full Blast Booking, his company specializing in indie touring and spot show bookings, Duece is one of the hardest working people in indie music. Duece spent 6 summers in a row performing on the Vans Warped Tour, and regionally has opened for hip hop heavyweights like Method Man + Redman, Slaughterhouse, KRS One, B.O.B, Ghostface, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Royce da 5’9, Riff Raff, Foxy Brown, Sheek Louch, Maino, Wale, Cory Gunz, and House of Pain to name a few.
Playing countless shows along the east coast, dropping 5 independent albums and 4 Full Blast mixtapes, Duece Bug has refined the craft of indie work ethic. Duece has played world famous venues such as Toads Place, Webster Hall, XL Center, Jones Beach, The Middle East, the Palladium, GroundZero and more; and has been featured on MTVs Made, Vlad TV, Audiohustlaz (B-Real) and Shade 45 satellite radio.

Duece Bug has 5 studio releases. His first official full length l.p. “Fuck.Duece.Bug” poked at the boundaries of conventional hip hop, and took CT hip hop music to another level. It includes features by Cory Gunz, Cappadonna (of Wu Tang Clan fame), Ethan Issac of Edisun, and was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered at Factory Underground Studios in Norwalk CT. Duece Bug dropped his anticipated follow up double cd entitled “Love, Duece Bug” June 11th 2011. While it is as unconventional as ‘fuck.duece.bug’, there is a more conscious and natural element to ‘love, duece bug’. It boasts production from Kenny Ca$h and Vinny Idol (of D Block), and includes guest features from Cory Gunz, Mr Lif, and Blacastan. ‘LDB’ stretches the parameters of rap music, and when it came time to put out a 3rd project, Duece kept it strictly hip hop.

On Nov 25th, the Tex Wattsun Chronic-als was released, featuring production entirely by fellow CT artists such as Jacobi Wichita, Apathy, DJ Nevermind, Blacastan and more. This project includes CT classic We Be Out Here, and is intense, gritty and represents the true spirit of indie hip hop. TWC was a limited release and is no longer available to the public. MANTIS followed, and was probably Dueces’ most anticipated album. Released on Handsome Money Records, and featuring production by Kenny Cash and features from Sid Wilson of Slipknot, Cappadonna of Wu Tang Clan and more, MANTIS was a fan favorite- with hits such as Keep It Constant, Don’t Sleep and Kick Rrawks. Duece Bugs 5th studio album is releasing Summer 2021 and comes after a brief hiatus where Duece formed punk band Dutty Winehouse.
After 4 years of rocking punk/altrock/hardcore shows and tours, Duece Bug is back on the hiphop scene with Melting Pot. This album is half hiphop, half punk rock/ska/hardcore; all songs and instrumental parts written by Duece Bug.
